An Intimate Wedding Feast at Forty Hall Estate

Set against the timeless elegance of Forty Hall Estate in Enfield, our Chris & Bianca team was honoured to cater for an intimate gathering of 60 guests celebrating love and family. As guests wandered through the Estate’s manicured grounds, they were greeted with a basket of warm, char-grilled Thai-style fish cakes—tender morsels scented with lemongrass and coriander—beautifully arranged around a porcelain bowl of house-made sweet chili dipping sauce. Each canapé was threaded onto a bamboo pick, making it easy to linger over new acquaintances under the soft glow of the courtyard lanterns.
Inside the historic banqueting hall, tables draped in ivory linens were dressed with delicate pastel florals and softly flickering candles, echoing the bride’s springtime palette. Guests indulged in two more rounds of passed bites: miniature parmesan tarts crowned with onion marmalade and goat’s-cheese cream, and crisp filo cups brimming with caramelized shallot confit and pea shoots. Meanwhile, our chef in classic white worked alongside our discreet service staff to ensure glasses of chilled Prosecco were never empty, and that every course moved seamlessly from kitchen to table.
To close the evening on a sweet note, we presented petite fruit tarts—hand-filled with zesty lemon curd, topped with a jewel of fresh raspberry and blueberry, and finished with a sprinkle of biscuit crumb. As laughter drifted across the candlelit room and the DJ cued the first dance, our team quietly cleared the last crumbs and polished the final glass, leaving the newlyweds and their guests free to savor every moment of their magical Forty Hall Estate celebration.
